Background
Mundial Consulting began work with Connexions in February 2006. Its role
was to deploy IT for up to 45 personal advisors working within 15
schools in London. Additionally the project was also to establish and
deploy a new regional office for Connexions London West.
Intervention Delivered
In order to meet the objectives an agreement had to be sought from each
individual school as to how advisors would connect to a remote database.
Over an initial 6 week period Mundial Consulting successfully reached
agreement with all schools as to the manner in which they could connect
to this database and for the deployment of IT to all advisors
Results Achieved
The results of this have meant that each advisor has been able to work
more effectively in the schools to support the needs of the clients
requiring their services.
The key learning outcomes from this project have served to act as a
pilot for other Local Education Authorities (LEAs) allowing these future
projects to learn from this experience.
